Refreshment Vehicle Licence Application 

Note: In order to complete this application, you are required to submit the items listed below, if you have a legible scanned or photographed digital copy, you have the option to upload them as part of this online form:

  1. Approved inspection report from the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit.

  2. Approval from the County of Northumberland (if applicable).

  3. A letter of permission from the registered property owner where the Refreshment Vehicle is to be located when the operator is not the owner of the property.

  4. A Site Plan of the property outlining the location of the Refreshment Vehicle, buildings, property entrances, parking and the distances between the Refreshment Vehicle and all property line boundaries and buildings.

  5. Proof of Insurance as set out in Section 5 of the Refreshment Vehicle By-law.

  6. Proof of the affixed seal from the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).

  7. Annual inspection by a Licensed Contractor, pursuant to Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA) requirements for Mobile Food Services Equipment.

  8. Proof of an Exhaust Hood System Inspection completed by a certified technician, and proof that such system has been cleaned by a certified company.

  9. Refeshment Vehicle Licence Fee of $350.00

Before submitting your application, please review By-law No. 2021-006 - Refreshment Vehicle By-law to ensure you are familiar with the requirements to operate a Refreshment Vehicle in the Muncipality of Trent Hills.

  1. The applicant has reviewed and agrees to comply with the requirements of the Municipality of Trent Hills Refreshment Vehicle By-law. 
  2. The licence may be revoked for non-compliance with the Refreshment Vehicle By-law, at any time, by the Licensing Officer.

Notice of Collection: Personal information contained on this form is collected pursuant to the Municipal Act, and will be used for the purpose of issuing a Refreshment Vehicle Licence.  Enquiries regarding the collection of this information may be directed to the Office of the Clerk/Freedom of Information Coordinator, Municipality of Trent Hills, 66 Front Street South, Campbellford, ON K0L 1L0 705-653-1900.
