Requirements

1. Permit Fee and Security Deposit, as set in the current Fees and Charges By-law.

2. Uploaded copies of:

  • Proof of Insurance
  • Site Plan for proposed work (*please indicate if long or short service)
  • Traffic Control Plan, if traffic is to be disrupted

3. Failure to comply with By-law 2005-092 will result in a $2,000 fine recoverable under the Provincial Offences Act as set in Section 21.

4. Contact 705-653-1900 for inspection prior to backfill and for final inspection of Road Cut to commence one (1) year warranty period from the time of acceptance and approval.

5. All bedding, cover material, hard surface repairs and placement to meet or exceed Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications (OPSS).

6. Prior to commencing work, conduct locates as required.

7. A copy of the approved permit must remain on work site at all times.

I, the undersigned, hereby agree to indemnify and save harmless the Corporation of the Muncipality of Trent Hills from all damages, costs, expenses and liability that they may be put to incur, in defending themselves against claims of damages, or may pay by way of settlement of any such damages by reason of any material or obstruction place on the Municipality property.  

I also agree to indemnify the Municipality for replacing said hard surfaces that may be disturbed.
